1. UN Leader Ban Ki-Moon adopts lion cub in Kenya -but why?

Ban Ki-Moon, leader of the United Nations, visited to the Nairobi to attend the first U.N. Environment Assembly and he adopted a lion cub which is a female and just six months old on June 28. He named the young lion Tumaini which means hope. Currently, this lion cub lives at the Nairobi National Park. And Ban Ki-Moon wanted to grow the lion healthy.

In my opinion, Ban Ki-Moon adopted the lion because he give the hope to Kenyan. Nowadays, Kenya is suffering from terrorism. Therefore many Kenyan were killed and tourism has been a big damage. This is so sad and I feel pity. Also I Hope that Kenyan will be able to overcome their pain. I think that Tumaini, a lion cub, will be a real 'Hope' if people must believe in hope. Then someday really Kenyan will be better. I always believed that all things can be true if I wish earnestly.

2. Kenya's matatu bus system to go cashless.

Matatus which is used as the minivans and buses switches to new electronic fare payments. At least three companies already implemented the new fare system which operates with passengers pre-loading plastic cards. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), expect that this new fare system help to increase government tax revenue and to prevent corruption. Also matatu operators can see benefits.

In my opinions, Kenyan often feel uncomfortable at the rush hour. Because many people gather public transportation and cash payments takes a relatively long time. Therefore new electronic fare payments in kenya is very good system. However, at first, there are some problems. For examples, people don't have the cards, or there are no money in transportation cards. So I think that government should inform new fare system in many times to prevent the confusion.

3.Kenyan musicians cancel Folklife performance in protest of their government.

A group of Kenyan musicians canceled a 2 p.m. show which scheduled to perform at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on Saturday. The group demanded payment for their travel and living expenses for the festival and respect from their government. But government
did not respond to requests for comment. Therefore the sort of drastic measure's been taken.

In my opinion, money is a big cause of the problem and I think that audiences are taken the most damaged. If a group of Kenyan musicians' request is reasonable, the government should give money to them. Then musicians and audiences enjoy the performance, also government doesn't get damage. To do this, the system which assure the rights of artists and valid payments of living cost. Anyway, I hope that solve the problem as soon as possible and musicians give their pleasure to people.
